Because the story of La Cenerentola (Cinderella) is so ubiquitous, it makes this opera very accessible for a wide audience, including the younger generation. In fact, La Cenerentola was composed a year after the Barber of Seville, and is second in popularity only to that famous opera. The Seattle Opera is presenting this lively and entertaining opera from January 12th to the 25th.
